Ghouls and Goblins will walk the halls
Pine Grove School
Friday, October 25th from
6:30 – 8:00 pm!
PGS PTO needs your help to fill the volunteer spots for the evening. Volunteer for as little as 30 minutes.
Sign-up via Konstella.
Trusted Adults must stay on-site with your student at the dance.
Lend a hand while the children dance in the gym, or play games in the hallways!
Many hands make light work!
Huge shout out to Adara Buzecan and Kelsey Nemarich and all the other volunteers who made the Halloween Dance a great success!! Events like this are only possible when everyone pitches in and helps out.
Thank you to all the PGS Families who donated their time for the Halloween Dance!!!
Makerspaces are areas where students come to explore, build, create and tinker.
This new space in the PGS Library, funded in part by the PTO, will let students creatively explore and imagine!!!
A makerspace is not solely a lab, or a craft area, or a STEM center, or a tech room, or an art station, but it can have components of some or all these places. Makerspaces provide hands-on, creative ways to encourage students to design, experiment, build and invent as they deeply engage in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math).
BOOSTERTHON FUN RUN- AMAZING RESULTS!!!!!
to all the students, the PGS Faculty & Staff, family, friends, relatives, businesses and all those who have supported the PGS Community by pledging or volunteering to make this year’s Boosterthon FunRun campaign such a success!
From the Pep Rally to the FunRun and everything
in between - PGS has really enjoyed the MindSpark journey.
We raised $26,109!!!
With 66% of pledges coming from friends, family and businesses!!
Pledges came in from 30 different states and 4 counties!!!
We have such a large and wonderfully supportive PGS Community!
These funds will be used to pay
for the in-class field trips in 2019/2020 sponsored by the PGS PTO:
Roaring Brook Nature Center,
Hartford Stage, Mystic Aquarium, and Avon Historical Society.
