Custodian Appreciation Day
Every day at PGS, our custodian team works so hard to keep floors sparkling, doorknobs sanitized, and
smiles on students' faces! PGS is thankful for their tireless dedication and commitment no matter how messy the job!
This year more than ever, the PGS custodians are taking extra care and time to keep PGS as healthy and safe as possible during the pandemic. All the while, assuming extra duties outside like helping with the car line.
PGS custodians are school superheroes too.
Jody, Keith, Manny, Lou, and Kevin
To show our appreciation, the PTO will be decorating their workspace, providing each custodian with a gift basket containing an E&D gift card to enjoy lunch, an assortment of prepackaged snacks, Hot hands Hand warmers, and other small goodies, and best of all, the students will be making cards with their classrooms to deliver on Monday, Nov 23!
Families are welcome to also show their appreciation through a sign on your car in the car line, a wave, a honk, an email, or just a moment of thankfulness with your student for the custodians' important role.
Thank you PGS custodians!
PGS Book Fair
Thank you so much to everyone for supporting our PTO by shopping the online book fair. We truly missed being able to see the looks of excitement on the faces of our students, as well as the interaction with families and teachers that we would normally have at a regular book fair and we look forward to the time when it will be safe to do so again. Until then, stay safe and keep reading!
Many thanks from your book fair co-chairs,
Sahra Kraft & Jodi Stark
E&D Pizza - Fundraising event
The PTO is excited to announce that the E&D fundraiser was a huge success.
So many families came out in support of the school and to support E&D Pizza Company. We would like to thank Mike Androw for his generosity in donating 20% of the proceeds from the night's event to the PTO, and all the PGS families who ordered take out.
We were able to raise $450.00 for future PTO sponsored events.
We are hoping to continue to host more events like this in the coming months to support our local businesses, our community, and our school.
